“In addition to her terrific lawyering capabilities, LeElle provides time-critical business and strategic counsel that can make all the difference in complex, high stakes matters. I have the highest regard for LeElle and recommend her without qualification.”
– Robert Millen, General Counsel for Pizza Hut
I’ve litigated in federal and state courts across the country, before both judges and juries. One of my trials – DDR Holdings v. Hotels.com, where my team won a jury verdict of patent infringement in the Eastern District of Texas – was the first case to survive a § 101 challenge at the Federal Circuit after the Supreme Court issued Alice Corp. v. CLS Bank Int’l, and was the only case to do so for almost two years.
I’ve litigated contract disputes, class actions, antitrust claims, patent and copyright infringement cases, breach of fiduciary duty disputes, and theft of trade secrets, and across many different industries, including oil and gas, private equity, healthcare, banking, telecom, fashion, manufacturing, and software, to name just a few. I’ve also handled appeals to several federal courts of appeal, including the United States Supreme Court (Comcast Corp. v. Behrend, representing the class).
I understand that getting the best result for my clients means more than just the legal outcome, it means cost effective lawyering. As my former clients can attest, I approach every lawsuit strategically:
“LeElle managed our case up through arbitration – and what a difference she made! Her intelligence, tenacity, and meticulous preparation helped us achieve a very favorable settlement. She is one of the finest lawyers I’ve worked with.”
– Tim Opler, Founder and Managing Partner of Torreya Partners
I’m a native Texan who clerked in Houston on the Fifth Circuit and practiced for several years at Susman Godfrey in Dallas. Since moving to Manhattan in 2013, I’ve gained experience with the New York court system and the legal concerns of New York and international clients. I am as comfortable handling an oil and gas case in Fort Worth as I am advising a board of directors on Wall Street.
I look forward to talking to you about your case.
