Lydia represents individuals and organizations in complex civil litigation throughout the country. She graduated from Berkeley Law in 2014, and then clerked for a federal judge in the Eastern District of Louisiana. While clerking, she worked on a wide range of cases, including class actions and environmental pollution, land use, contract, insurance, intellectual property disputes. From 2015 to 2017, Lydia practiced civil rights litigation in state and federal court as a law fellow in the Jackson, Mississippi office of the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Before law school, Lydia was a Teach for America corps member on the Navajo reservation in New Mexico. She also studied Arabic and worked with refugee communities as a Fulbright fellow in Amman, Jordan. Lydia is currently on the board of the Music and Culture Coalition of New Orleans (MaCCNO), a coalition working to empower, assist, and organize New Orleans’ cultural community.
