Three Firm Attorneys Recognized on List of Texas Rising Stars

Three Burns Charest attorneys in the firm’s Dallas office have been named to the list of Rising Stars in the legal profession in Texas.

Mallory Biblo, Spencer Cox and LeElle Slifer are this year’s honorees, which are selected by Thomson Reuters’ legal division to recognize outstanding lawyers under the age of 40 and those who have been practicing law for no more than 10 years. The attorneys were selected based on nominations from other lawyers across the state and an extensive review by the publication’s editors.

Ms. Biblo represents businesses and individuals in all types of commercial matters. She earned her law degree from The George Washington University Law School, and her undergraduate degree from Cornell University.

A veteran of the U. S. Navy, Mr. Cox represents individuals and businesses in complex litigation in both state and federal courts.  He received his law degree from Harvard Law School and undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.

Ms. Slifer represents clients in a wide range of matters, including contract disputes, oil and gas royalty underpayments, breach of fiduciary duty, antitrust claims, patent and copyright infringement and theft of trade secrets. She has also handled appeals to several federal and state courts of appeal, including the United States Supreme Court
